If you find yourself running around in the morning without time for a nutritious breakfast, then you’ll want to try smoothie packs to make this refreshing beet smoothie recipe.
Sometimes I can sense that I’m not going to get enough fruits and vegetables in a day given my schedule, so I often opt to start my morning with my latest fruit and vegetable smoothie/juice concoction.
Beginning my day with a glass full of vitamins and nutrients leaves me feeling more energized and ready to tackle anything that’s thrown my way. Okay, maybe that’s a little far-fetched, but it does leave me feeling like I have a head start in the nutrition department for the day.
Most mornings, I’m often running around like a crazy person because I hit my snooze button one time too many times. To ensure that I still have time to make a nutritious breakfast to go, I prepare smoothie packs over the weekends.
What are smoothie packs?
Smoothie packs are all of the ingredients for one serving stashed away in the freezer in a Ziploc bag, pre-portioned and ready to go. You can freeze just about anything, minus the liquid component that gets everything moving in the blender.
Here is the refreshing beet smoothie recipe I’ve been enjoying lately that adds a little zest to my morning routine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
