With so many of us working from home and the lines of work and home blending and feelings of overwhelm may be setting in, why not give yourself a break with some healthy comfort food?
We all love comfort food because, well, it’s comforting. It makes us feel like we’re back at home with family or in our favorite place snuggled up on the couch.
Comfort food doesn’t mean you have to forgo healthy ingredients
But comfort food doesn’t mean you can’t still keep your healthy habits. Maintaining a healthy diet of fiber, protein, and healthy fats is important; otherwise your mind and body will feel sluggish and not operate at their optimal capacity.
Don’t worry, though, this post has some of my favorite healthy comfort food recipes. And the best part is that they’re super easy to make, and many of them will leave you with leftovers so you don’t have to plan as many meals for the week!
