5-Minute Nacho Cheese Hummus


Description

This nacho cheese hummus recipe is not your average hummus recipe. This 5-minute hummus recipe has all of the flavors of the beloved bag of Doritos chips, but yet healthy enough so that you don’t have to feel guilty about reaching for scoopfuls! It’s slightly smoky, creamy and of course, cheesy, satisfying every bit of the nacho cheese lover inside of you.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 14.5 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor (except the olive oil) and blend on HIGH until smooth and creamy. Stream in the olive oil slowly. You might want to scrape down the sides a few times to make sure all of the ingredients are well combined. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more water!
