- Instead of vegetable oil or butter, swap it for coconut oil which is full of MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) which has been shown to improve overall health in moderation.
- To make a pancake gluten-free, instead of using gluten-free all-purpose flour, try making it more nutritious with a combination of almond flour and oat flour. A good place to start is ½ almond flour and ½ oat flour to replace the equivalent of all-purpose flour.
