Green smoothies hold a very special place in my heart (and health) as they were the gateway to jumpstarting my journey towards finding foods that fueled my body, mind and most importantly, energy levels.

As I was beginning to dive deeper into the world of wellness and nutrition, and the idea that “food is medicine”, I knew I needed to make some changes in my own lifestyle.   1. I heard about that challenge on a podcast recently. Sounds like a great way to get started on a healthier course for a lot of people. We love green smoothies. My favorite combo of all time is unsweetened almond milk, banana, spinach and vanilla whey protein powder. It is so good and only 200 calories.
